Full-Time Position - Orthopaedic Surgery Center of Panther Creek & Raleigh Orthopaedic Surgery Center locations

The Surgical Technologist, under the guidance of the OR Clinical Manager, is responsible for the care and safety of the patients who come under his or her care. The surgical technologist is responsible for ensuring effective communications between him /herself, the circulating nurse, the patient, other staff and physicians. By anticipating the needs of the surgeon, the surgical technologist provides assistance while maintaining an aseptic and safe surgical environment.

The Surgical Technologist also assists in performing activities of sterile processing in preparation and distribution of sterile supplies and equipment for use in the care and treatment of patients. This position provides support with room turnover and assist in preference card updates and case picking.

Experience in orthopedics preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology. Current ORT Certification. CPR Certification required.
